BeCivil started out as Brummy’s Earthworks in Tomerong, built from the ground up by local excavator Garry—better known around Shoalhaven as Brummy. A familiar face with deep ties to the community, Garry has spent over 20 years serving as an active member of the NSW Rural Fire Service, earning respect both on and off the job site.


Today, BeCivil is known across Nowra and the surrounding region for honest work, fair pricing and no-nonsense results. As a designated heavy plant contractor for Shoalhaven City Council, Garry brings trusted skills and experience to every job.


The business was founded on hard work, clear communication and doing things properly the first time—values still at the heart of every project we take on.


Backed by a small, capable crew and reliable machinery, we deliver excavation services that support new builds, rural blocks and commercial projects across the region.
